Does MacTel have traditional “Call Waiting”?
Yes, MacTel service comes with Call Waiting features; You can see your Second callers caller ID details on the Home Phone screen.
Press the “FLASH” button on your telephone to switch between calls.
If you don’t have a flash button on your telephone, tap the hang-up button.

How do I set up a conference call?
Press "Flash" button on your phone to hold the call. After hearing a dial tone, dial the third party's phone number.
- If answered, press "Flash" again to bring both parties into the conference.
- If not answered, Press "Flash" to resume the original call.
- If you hang up the call, the conference will end by default.

Do I have to dial any extra numbers with MacTel?
Calling inside the Canada you don’t need to dial any extra numbers.
* Except Yukon, Nunavut, N.W.T and independence Rate centers serving rural areas.

Do I need to dial a country code to dial Canada from another country?
Not at all, to make calls to Canada just dial the ten-digit telephone number.

How do I dial International numbers?
Calling to international numbers with your MacTel works the same as with a traditional provider.

Dial 1 + the area code + local number - Calls to countries outside North America
Dial 011 + country code + city code + local number

Do I have traditional dial tone with MacTel?
Yes, you will hear a traditional dial tone when you use MacTel.

Does MacTel receive incoming calls as well?
Yes, MacTel is for both outbound and inbound calls; anyone in the world can call you.
Voice Mail

How do I navigate the voicemail menus?
Dial *9
Once you have accessed the voicemail system, you will have the following options:
- 1- Play Voice Mail
- 2- Setup Menu
1-Unavailable message , 2-Busy message, 3-Personalize Name, 4-Change Greeting, 5-Change Pass code - 3- Exit Voice Mail

How do I configure voicemail via email?
You will get voicemails to your primary email. .
